At Tureks, our manufacturing operations are driven by a commitment to complete energy independence and carbon neutrality. We generate 100% of our energy requirements through an extensive network of solar panels installed on our facility rooftops, complemented by a dedicated solar field situated on land unsuitable for agriculture or other efficient uses. This dual approach allows us to harness clean power without displacing vital land resources, ensuring that every tile and slab we produce is processed using entirely renewable energy.
Zero-Waste Philosophy in Materials and Packaging
Our respect for natural resources extends to the stone itself; we operate with a zero-waste mindset where every fragment of
quarried marble is utilized. Off-cuts and smaller pieces that might otherwise be discarded are creatively repurposed into new design products, such as intricate mosaics, ensuring that the full potential of the raw material is realized. Furthermore, we prioritize the use of recycled materials for our packaging wherever possible, carefully balancing eco-friendly choices with the necessity of protecting our fragile products to ensure they arrive intact and do not become waste before reaching their final destination.
Advanced Water Stewardship and Recycling TECHNOLOGY USED FOR SAVING WATER
We treat water as a critical, finite resource, utilizing a sophisticated closed-loop filtration system that circulates approximately 100 tons of water per hour throughout our facilities. Rather than constantly drawing from fresh water supplies, we recycle nearly all of our process water, only adding fresh water to replace the mere 3% lost to natural evaporation. This highly efficient cycle drastically reduces our environmental footprint, allowing us to maintain high-volume production while preserving local water ecosystems.
